Querino Canyon Trading Post ΓÇó The Querino Canyon Trading Post was once a thriving establishment, but now resembles the condition of the old road that passes through Querino. This stretch of Route 66 is now a rutted dirt road running to the north of Interstate 40. While no longer paved, this is an interesting section of the road, for it veers far enough north to leave the sight and sounds of I-40 out of mind. While cruising down this section of old Route 66, you truly get a feel for what it was like to cruise Route 66 in its early days.
